Chip

Chip has been hunting waterfowl since 1981. He has been blessed to hunt many different areas of the country including Canada. Some of his best experiences have been in Southern Illinois, North Dakota, and Saskatchewan Canada. He has also hunted Michigan, Indiana, Maryland, Ohio, and Arkansas. “ I have a passion for feathers, and have been blessed to hunt allot of different areas for ducks and geese, with some really great friends” He has been chasing turkeys primarily with his kids and brother in law since 1993. He has hunted in Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Ohio.

Chip is married with two children; Zach, and Cassie. Both of his children have hunted with him since they were ten years old.” My wife, Amy is a blessing and allows me to spend all the time I desire in the outdoors. We hunt turkeys in the spring, fish for walleyes all summer, start with doves in September and end with geese in January. He says his passion for feathers is because of his retrievers. His current best hunting partner HRCH Super Storm is a testament to that. “I have been training retrievers since 1985, they are the reason I love to hunt doves, ducks and geese.”

Chip was hired by The Greenville Fire Department in 1990. He was promoted to Captain in 1993. “Firefighting is like the family business; my father, brother, grandfathers and two uncles were all members of the fire service.”

In 2010 Chip was one of the original founders of “The Fowlfighters”

Storm

Hi!
I am "Hunting Retriever Champion Shoups Super Storm." Please call me "Stormy" if we ever have the privilege of meeting. I'm a 5 year old male black lab. I started hunting at 10 months and have no desire to stop anytime soon. When I was 14 months, my handler (so he thinks) started running me in finished hunt tests in the Hunting Retriever Club. At the ripe old age of 17 months, they gave me this certificate-thing that put HRCH in front of my name. None of that really matters to me. I just want to get to the next field we are going to shoot geese in. I know I sound perfect, but rest assured I have my bad habits, I druel a lot and a few others we won't talk about. As of the date of me writing this, I have over 1500 retrieves while hunting. My Father is 2 time (back to back) NAFC FC Candlewoods Ramblin Man and my Mother is the second highest producing female in the HRC, GRHRCH Shoup's Home Run Casey. My creed is: have pooch hut, will travel, lets hunt.

To answer one question, my picture is not photo shopped. I really am sitting there with all that stuff hanging on me... the helmet on my head and the call in my mouth.
