My younger (and our second caller) was back in town for the weekend, a week ago we had a TON of geese around, then the weather turned warm again and they stopped flying.  So we planned on going out Saturday either way.  As it turns out we got a surprise, 5 inches of snow over night friday, and things got pretty good for us on Sat.  There were only 3 of us and my 6 yr old nephew, because we didn't really expect much action, but we pulled off 12 honkers!  Mostly small groups, and singles, but it was a blast!  hopefully we get a couple more days before the 15th where the birds cooperate!
