I have been in the fire service since 1990 and a Captain since 1993. Firefighting is like the family business; my father, brother, grandfathers and two uncles were all members of the fire service.

I am married with two children; Zach 22 and Cassie 21. Both of my children have hunted with me since they were ten years old. My wife, Amy is a blessing and allows me to spend all the time I desire in the outdoors. We hunt turkeys in the spring, fish for walleyes all summer, start with doves in September and end with geese in January. My passion is feathers, mostly due to the other member of the family...HRCH Super Storm. I have been training retrievers for the last 22 years. They are the reason I love to hunt doves, ducks and geese. I have been waterfowl hunting for the past 27 years and have been privileged to hunt many areas of the mid-west and Canada.

If I can be of any assistance, please contact me at Chip Fashner.

Hi!
I am "Hunting Retriever Champion Shoups Super Storm." Please call me "Stormy" if we ever have the privilege of meeting. I'm a 5 year old male black lab. I started hunting at 10 months and have no desire to stop anytime soon. When I was 14 months, my handler (so he thinks) started running me in finished hunt tests in the Hunting Retriever Club. At the ripe old age of 17 months, they gave me this certificate-thing that put HRCH in front of my name. None of that really matters to me. I just want to get to the next field we are going to shoot geese in. I know I sound perfect, but rest assured I have my bad habits, I druel a lot and a few others we won't talk about. As of the date of me writing this, I have over 1500 retrieves while hunting. My Father is 2 time (back to back) NAFC FC Candlewoods Ramblin Man and my Mother is the second highest producing female in the HRC, GRHRCH Shoup's Home Run Casey. My creed is: have pooch hut, will travel, lets hunt.

To answer one question, my picture is not photo shopped. I really am sitting there with all that stuff hanging on me... the helmet on my head, and the Tim Grounds goose call in my mouth. I love Tim's calls; they make it so I stay busy while in the field.
