Sounds like some are not watching for the warning lights in the cab.. These engines will show warnings before the engine shuts down. We have a 2011 Quint with an 07 engine, an from what i understand on these rigs, is that we may have to do a parked re-gen every now and again on them to clean the DPF because we don'y do alot of long haul driving. And with the 2010 engines that have the urea tanks, they will shut down if there tank is out, But i'm sure there are warning lights on them as well. I heard that the costruction equipment will have to comply as well soon.
