The Miami Valley fire/EMS Alliance is putting on a Safe-IR, Inc. Thermal Imaging Class on in December. The class will be held on Dec. 4 & 5 from 0800 to 1600 hrs. The training will be at the OH Task Force 1 center and the The Dayton Fire Dept. Burn Tower. Registration dead line is Nov. 8th. Sorry about not getting this out sooner, I just found out about it today. Thought that some would like to attend. cost is $50.00 each and space limited. here is the website if you would like to attend.

Had the opportunity to attend this class a few years back in Hamilton county. I urge any that can attend do so. This is definitely an outstanding course taught by excellent instructors from SAFE IR. It will show you HOW to use your TIC in real world. Not many of us can actually say we have trained with our TIC, there is alot more we need to know besides how to turn it on and change batteries. The Harder We Train The Easier We Work.   Stay Safe

I did and the training was excellent.  The instructors were extremely knowledgeable and made the class fun.  If SAFE-IR comes to your area offering tic training I highly recommend that you participate.

Training as good as this proves we need never stop training. There will always be better more effective ways to do our job. Always strive for more knowledge. Train Hard   Even if you have to on your own. Stay Safe
