About Your Trip

What You will Need to Know

  • Hunts will require a $100/Gun/Day non-refundable deposit at time of booking, the remainder will be due before hunt takes place **

  • All clients are responsible for their own transportation to the hunt location 

  • Hunting will be out of, Heated Pit Blinds, Layout blinds, Heated above ground / A-Frame style blinds

  • Alcohol and Drugs of any kind WILL NOT be allowed while hunting

  • Hunters are expected to hunt in a safe / ethical manner & follow all rules from Head Guide 

  • All clients are responsible for the transportation & cleaning of their own birds 

What You will Need to Bring

  •  

    NYS hunting license 

  • Federal Duck stamp (purchased at any US Post Office)

  • HIP number: Register by phone or online @ NYSDEC website

  • Shotgun 12 or 20 GA Preferred

  • Ammo Preferably BB-2 shot for geese and 2-5 shot for ducks *NO LEAD*

  • Appropriate clothing for the weather conditions 

  • Cooler + Ice , Bird Cleaning Accessories ( Knives or Bird Hitch) Freezer bags

Near Montezuma, NY:

  1. Quality Inn & Suites Palm Island Indoor Waterpark: Located in nearby Batavia, this hotel offers family-friendly accommodations and is about a 30-minute drive from Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge.

  2. Hampton Inn Seneca Falls: Situated in Seneca Falls, this hotel is close to both Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge and the town of Geneva. It provides modern amenities and comfortable lodging.
