I'm lookin forward to seeing the new call....BUT ya can't go wrong with a Zink Call The new NOS is outstanding!

Here is a pick from one of the 4 days we spent up at lake Erie.  We prefer feathers but decided to go get some fins.  Tough conditions but we managed to pull a limit this day with some help from skipper Noah.

Not a bad Idea, But I love my SBE.. maybe momma needs to use it first.

I bought him a 20g couple years ago and tried that before I gave it to him and the little sucker figured it out that it was his so I had to give it to him early.. This time I would really like to surprise him.

We thought about heading out later but decided that we'll play it a little safer this year.  Next year may be two trips.  I'd like to try and hit the huge mallard migration they typically get around Halloween, weather depending of course.  Good luck to you guys, hope it doesn't freeze up on you guys.

The area I'll be hunting  has alot of elk just not the huge ones they shoot on TV.  I'll have to save up some more money and hunt N.M or AZ to shoot a monster elk.  They will all look big to me!!

Sorry, keeping them here in hopes that a friend from alaska will kill one.  I've hunted the San Juans in Colorado-tons of elk, you will find yourself in Heaven!

still drooling...I love the reflection of the one bull drinking.  On the hike in to this spot I sat down to rest by a place I like to hang a treestand.  couldn't figure out why the flies were so bad until less than 10 feet away I noticed a pile of freshly cut plants and pine duff, with a deer's hoof sticking out the side! Had a very real chill go down my spine especially as I realized it was so fresh the plants hadn't even started to wilt yet...Hope I get a bear tag next year, I've got almost max points in this unit so I should be close.
